website m2_1 slot Hello, M2_1 is directly managed by the CPU and it supports only NVMe drives; M2_2 is managed through the X570 chipset and it supports both NVMe thor89 slot The M2_1 slot will be connected to the CPU to use the PCIe x4 bandwidth from the CPU No additional setting in BIOS is necessary As the below graph shows,

m2_1 slot 2 slot that can run at NVMe PCIe bandwidth, whereas others may be restricted to using SATA bandwidth Some motherboards' slots may even  INSTALL NVMe SSD IN NO OR SINGLE SLOT MOTHERBOARD  NVME Drive M2_2 slot performing slower than M2_1 slot My 2 Tb HP EX 950 is only getting ~2600 read 2600 write in my M2_2 slot Any ideas why
